Our Mission

The mission of the Coalition for Pet Protection is to reduce pet overpopulation and animal abuse in Nebraska by supporting the promotion of:

bullet

Affordable neuter/spay programs for all dogs and cats

bullet

Basic humane care and homes and/or foster placement for cats and dogs of the homeless

bullet

Responsible pet ownership and breeding

bullet

Humane animal welfare legislation

bullet

Efforts to prevent cruelty and neglect of dogs and cats

bullet

Public education

Coalition for Pet Protection (CPP) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer animal welfare organization located in Lincoln, Nebraska.  CPP was founded in 1992 and is composed of individuals and animal groups working together.  CPP seeks to change public attitudes and behaviors and gain a recognition by the public that any level of overpopulation and animal abuse is unacceptable.
