Animals for Adoption

BELLE

Belle is a German Pointer rescued from the pound by an older gentleman who has had to go to assisted living and could not take his dog with him. She is a very nice dog. She is approximately 10 years old, but is healthy and lively! She weighs 63 pounds. Belle is obedient and smart, likes to please, gets along with everyone! She is very friendly with other dogs, likes kids, enjoys riding in the car, and is not afraid to go into new places.

MR. YUL B.

Meet Mr. Yul B. (named after Yul Brynner of the King & I fame). He was dumped near the 84th and Holdrege Walmart. The caring staff there took care of him, and he's currently living with one of the employees. He will be fixed and shots given soon. He is negative for leuk/aids. He is a long hair Siamese mix, seal point markings. His eyes are that beautiful ice blue. He is 2 to 3 years old. He is one very sweet, very affectionate feline. He loves to sit on your lap and cuddle and purr. He does need a forever home very soon. His current foster can't keep him much longer. Contact Wilda at 402-475-0321 for more information.

SADIE

This is Sadie. She is 2 years old. She has been spayed and updated on her shots. She is house trained and was raised around kids and other dogs. Her owners travel for their jobs and don't feel it's fair for Sadie and Sasha to be alone so much. SASHA MARIE

Sasha Marie is 3 years old. She has been spayed and updated on her shots. She is house trained and was raised around kids and other dogs. Her owners travel for their jobs and don't feel it's fair for Sasha Marie and Sadie to be alone so much. The two of them need to be adopted together. KITTENS

These 3 kittens, newly rescued, are in need of forever homes. There are 2 males remaining to be adopted. The only female has already been adopted. They were about 6-7 weeks old when they were rescued. They are in the process of being socialized, and will be fixed as soon as they are old enough. TED

Ted is a special needs kitty. He was found when he was 12 weeks old, along with two other kittens, abandoned at a lake, very frightened, cold and hungry. While the other 2 kittens have been adopted, Ted was diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease. He is currently staying in a foster home, where he is doing well on a carbohydrate restricted diet. RASTEN

Rasten is a 6 year old yellow lab. He has all his shots/fixed/heartworm free and protected. He is nurtured and is an indoor dog. He is a lover, but not good around young children. (That is the only reason for us having to find him a new home.) Rasten loves to play Frisbee or catch with tennis balls. He listens to commands and even responds to a whistle. He has a great nose and is very good at upland hunting. He loves other dogs if he is introduced to them properly, and he does currently live with a cat. LEXIE

Lexie is 4-5 years old. She is part Pekinese, part Papillon.  She is sweet, loving and just loves to follow you around. Lexie is housebroken, spayed and gets along well with other dogs. If you are interested in adopting Lexie, or to learn more about her, you can call Kathy at 402-223-9401.

SAMANTHA

Samantha is 10 years old. She has had 3 litters of kittens, has since then been spayed.  She is easy going, cuddly, and likes to talk. Her human needs to place her and Stella as she has a dog that is dying of mammary gland cancer and also has 4 cats. She is on disability and cannot care for them all anymore. STELLA

Stella is a spayed female, 6-7 years old. She loves sacks and cubes.  She is a cuddly, quiet lap cat. She is a lover and likes being brushed. Stella is one of Lisa's cats, and like Samantha needs to find a new home because her human can no longer care for her. SAMUEL

Samuel is a black lab mix, maybe part Golden Retriever. He is about 1 1/2 years old and weighs around 50 pounds. He is a very nice, loveable, friendly dog. He is good with kids and other dogs.

JASPER

Jasper is nine years old and weighs 20 pounds. He is playful and has lots of energy. He is good with kids and gets along well with other dogs. If you are interested in adopting Jasper, or to learn more about him, call Kathy at 402-223-9401.
